About This Project

Maps for the future is the final project for my Design, Process, Context & Systems class. I was tasked to design two maps (2D and 3D) that tell a story about a political or social issue that feels close to me. I decided on Sustainability in Fashion after recently watching the documentary The True Cost. For my 2D map, I focused on textile waste created by the fashion industry. For my 3D map, I focused on ethical fashion and noncompliance on minimum wage levels for textile manufacturing countries.
