Packaging Design, Graphic Design, Concepts

OBJECTIVE

This project aims to create a packaging with consideration of the experience of interacting with it. The packaging mimics the action of opening gifts and it reveals itself through several steps. Lastly, the project aims to create a cohesive brand through the intersection of graphic and product design.

APPROACH

Wildflower was presented with a challenge to address the absence of organic essences found in real flowers. To capture the desired aesthetic, I opted for authentic materials instead of digital illustrations, creating a genuine and organic appeal. The creative direction embraces a chic, creative, and unique sense. It aims to evoke a sophisticated presence while infusing vibrant hues that reflect the vibrance of flowers.

DESIGNED FOR

• individuals seeking personalized gifts that hold sentimental value and are meant to be kept for a long time

• event organizers in search of distinctive giveaways

Prototyping the landing page

Dielines are created in Adobe Illustrator and was cut via a Cricut machine.

The initial design was supposed to be a hexagon. However, with consideration of ergonomics, I switched to a traditional box/cube design.

Many visual elements of the brand are rooted in tangible materials. I extensively utilized real imagery rather than digital illustrations to evoke an authentic and organic feel.
